Day One – The Dry Day

We got to the campground – Lake Hartwell State Recreation Area – last night after dark.  We settled into a campsite near the lake front, but were very pleasantly surprised when we opened the RV door this morning and had this view:

    Looks like a great site! And, doesn’t seem to be a lot of folks around….nice spot for everyone to roam around. Yea for camping!

    Beautiful place. Glad the Herd got some good hiking. We’ve had continuous rain all day. No hiking here.

    Views are for humans although out mum did think it was very pretty!
    Our scenery is in the sniffing – looked like a great place for great smells and we know you guys would have had a brilliant time!
    We are still ‘enjoying’ the rain!!!
