A Rooster’s Dinner

We were preparing dinner for The Herd inside the S-RV.  The rest of The Herd was either screaming for dinner or doing their best “sit”, but Rusty the Rooster was doing his own special approach to dinner.  For all of our Rooster fans, here is the boy in his own unique approach to a normal situation:

Hey, Dad, checking on dinner here!

Smelling pretty good from here

Anything I can do to speed this along?

IMG_4635

Closing the door? Will that help?

How about if I dance for dinner?

That Rusty sure is a helpful guy. I do a dinner dance too. It usually involves me jumping in the air and running around in circles. I think it really helps Mom scoop the kibble faster.

Rusty is very helpful like our Lucy. We always have significant dinner “issues” with the time changes.

What a wonderful kitchen assistant Rusty is!

Like Stella, on the days I want my dinner ‘now’ I just have to fire off a few warning barks – that usually does the trikhk!

Rusty has a most charming way of moving things along.

Me, I get fed at wakeup and then at 5pm. If my Mom doesn’t watch the time, and it gets to be five, I have to go and bark at her. Three barks will always do it, but I start out with the idea of five, sort of an alarm clock deal. But so far I haven’t needed to go that extra two. Pawrents are always slow on the uptake.

    Kisses,
    Stella

I really think that my R and your Rusty share a similar spirit! My R does the same thing when I’m preparing his food inside our camping van. Rusty is one handsome dude!

Wooos Rusty! Working for that dinner! I hope whatever you do helps, I try spinning, that usually gets me something quicker.
Woooing does not always help unless i need to wake up Mommy…..

Too bad you are hooked up there, Rusty, or we might have been treated to a spinning twirl or two. We have heard of singing for your supper, but a dance is even better.
