Cloudy Day

Throughout the day, we had the threat of rain.  The clouds certainly looked threatening much of the day.  And with those clouds, we had plenty of humidity.  One of those sticky, humid days.

So you know what we did all day?  Yep – hiked.  Rain or shine!

I don’t think the Herd would have it any other way! You just might have to carry more water for them.

Juno officially wants to come live with you. she’s sick of my cheater walks that take us to the store and back. i promised her a long run/walk tomorrow tho. well, at least now she’s getting treated royally with raw food/meat and always a few bites from our weekend BBQ!

I don’t like the rain because it makes my fur all kinky.

I don’t know if I’d want to walk in that weather. But I like to lie in the sun no matter how hot it is, so maybe it wouldn’t bother me.

Beawootiful mountain pictures! I wonder if I will ever get to see one, or even hike a mountain, that would be so cool!

    WOO WOO

What beautiful pictures! We sure wish we could have been walking with you guys! Do you humans keep track of your mileage for each walk? We think the mountains would be so much more fun than the bike trails we have in the woods!

    Hugs

Oh, one of our kind of days AND you hiked???? Oh Mom, did you hear that? The TH goes on a hike even in the sticky weather – why not us???

Neither clouds nor humidity nor threat of rain shall keep them from their appointed trails!

Ugh. I’m not a fan of humidity. It makes my hair go all frizzy! 😉 And I don’t really like the rain, so if I hike, I make sure that Mom has checked the weather first. (Yep, I’m a bit of a princess. Just don’t tell anyone!)

I have to ask, is one human being actually holding onto all those leashes and keeping them untangled? I wonder that every time you post a photo like that one! Just two leashes flummox me.

The mountains look beautiful with the clouds. I think that a great thing about having dogs ruling our lives is that they force us to get out into nature regardless of the weather!

  20. Stella on August 23, 2009 at 7:57 am

I think if I had a choice, I would have opted out of this humid, sticky day hike. But you guys are showing your enthusiasm for the hike. Is this part of the tired Sibe is a good Sibe deal? The photos are beautiful!

    Carry on!

    Kisses,
    Stella
