Campbell Station Park – Farragut, Tennessee

Saturday afternoon found us out in the west side of Knoxville, Tennessee.  We needed to find somewhere to burn some energy off of The Herd (despite their morning walk and their evening walk – they needed a midday walk).  So we stopped at Campbell Station Park in Farragut, Tennessee.  Very nice little park with a mix of paved and mulch walkways.

Our musical selection was made by our cat pal Huffle, who posted a comment two weeks ago that said, “I don’t know why, but I am overcome with the urge to sing the theme song to Rawhide.” We thought it was so funny that we went out to ITunes and bought it.  So enjoy Frankie Laine and Rawhide.

If you have a musical number you would like to see us walk to, let us know.  This could be a fun little game (and makes for an even quirkier collection of music on my IPod).

How about a video set to “On the Trail” music from the Grand Canyon Suite by Ferde Grofe (the clip-cloppy section that is supposed to sound like hooves)?

That sounds like a neat idea! 🙂 The music really matched the video!

My Mom is pretty much an oldie so she likes Oldie songs. She thinks for the last walk of the day Walkin’ My Baby Back Home would be a good one. Want me to sing it for you? You might like the James Taylor version since you are in his home state!

Of course Kiska is a girl! She’s too pretty to be a boy. I’d clean her ears anytime.

Did the redheads have a little issue with the pole?
