Normal Day

So, after all of the festivities yesterday, did we get any leftovers? Nope!  It seems our humans found out that the Open Door Soup Kitchen of Waynesville was serving hot dogs for dinner last night because that is all that they had.  So all of our leftover barbeque, chicken, vegetables and so on went there.  Sigh.  Oh well, since we were once pups looking for a little kindness, we guess they did the right thing.  Though we really would have liked to TRY the food.

We really have to send out a thank you to all of your tremendous support of Sarge’s Animal Rescue Foundation.  We received two emails from board members yesterday saying thanks for what we wrote.  More importantly, they said thanks to you for using your human’s plastic to make a donation.  Wow!  Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Since we were well rested from yesterday, we pounced on our humans early this morning and made them promise a normal Herd day.  Meaning – hiking!  We expect to be doing this all day:
