That Looks Concerning

February 14, 2023 |

Roscoe’s bestest pal ever is his brother, Typhoon. Unfortunately, that means Roscoe often gets pulled into whatever mischief making the Little Prince is doing. Every now and then, Roscoe hesitates when he sees something that looks concerning. Don’t worry, though, he always caves and joins right in.

Typhoon Focus

February 12, 2023 |

Hu-Dad took advantage of some warmer, drier weather to sit on the patio and take photos of us. Great plan, except sitting on the patio draws our attention. Typhoon asked, “Have you fallen and can’t get up?”

The Tongue

February 11, 2023 |

A racer’s body. The strong legs. Firm paws. Sleek muscularity. Focused eyes. Aerodynamic coat. Proper tongue placement. At least according to Roscoe.

Boom Boom Shout Out

February 10, 2023 |

Landon is a multi-talented goofball. He races around the yard in a flash of Siberian fur. He turns his legs into springs to bounce kangaroo style. And he can keep up a running commentary with his never-ending vocalizations. In today’s photo, he’s shouting a hearty hello to the Hu-Dad as he rounds a corner.

Misjudged Distance

February 9, 2023 |

Typhoon quietly snuffed the grass on the hunt for hidden morsels (e.g., rabbit pellets, grub, other tasty treats). Roscoe ran zoomies at top speed in widening circles. Unfortunately, Roscoe suffered from a misjudged distance needed to brake. And Hu-Dad snapped the photo. On the bright side, the only repercussion was a Little Prince in hot pursuit of his brother, which is probably what Roscoe wanted in the first place.

A Tennis Fault

February 7, 2023 |

Hu-Dad sits at his desk for hours doing his busyness. To counteract the negative effects, he does many exercises including rolling a tennis ball under his feet. He says it’s a great activity to maintain flexibility, but his tennis ball disappears at the oddest times. We don’t have any suspects, but will keep a close eye out for the thief.

The Head Tilt

February 5, 2023 |

Frankie’s nickname, Mr. Suave, comes from his calm demeanor, his unflappable ways (well, except for thunder), and his incredible knack for finding ways to get the humans to do his bidding. Hu-Dad wasn’t quite moving fast enough to open the door and let Frankie escape back to his comfy, warm bed, so he threw in the head tilt for emphasis. Yes, it worked.

HoverSibe Engaged

February 4, 2023 |

We often explained that Landon has springs in his paws, the bouncy kangaroo antics that give him the nickname Boom Boom. When he really wants to fly, though he needs the HoverSibe engaged. Note no paws touching the ground and sonic Boom Boom speed has been achieved.

Dear Weatherman

February 3, 2023 |

Dear weatherman. Dogs here. We haven’t had any snow this year and all it’s done is rain. Can you fix our weather please? We suffered through yet another rainy day Thursday. Our ground is soggy and so are we canines. We don’t care what the groundhog said yesterday, but we’re ready for some better weather.

Royal Disdain

February 2, 2023 |

Hu-Dad issued a command for “All Dogs” to go inside the house. The others responded, but His Royal Highness Little Prince Typhoon Phooey ignored the request. When Hu-Dad followed up with the comment, “I meant you too,” this was the look for the Little Prince. Apparently, he was waiting on a special invitation.

Radar Lock

January 31, 2023 |

Is there any doubt that Roscoe is focused? The eyes have locked into their target and the tail points the way. A Hu-Dad mugging will occur in just a few seconds, so the photo had to be quick.

Mesmerized

January 29, 2023 |

We love spending time with our Hu-Dad, especially when he is absorbed in his busyness. We are gripped by his work effort and couldn’t be more enthralled. One need only take one look at Landon and know exactly how mesmerized we are.
