Nicknames

Sally Jane, Sally Woo, Sally Wally (yes, it rhymes), Mustang Sally, Chirpy, Munchkin (those adorable short legs!), and Bullet Train (for her speed around the house).

Origin

For nearly five years, ever since the loss of Cheoah, The Herd has somehow functioned with a female to be the boys' brain. When Miss Sally came available through Charlie's Angels Animal Rescue, we knew she would be perfect. On December 28, 2024, she became an official member of The Herd.

Personality

Confident, strong-willed, and funny, the perfect combination for a Siberian Husky. She believes firmly in speed over finesse, which places household objects and her brothers (and humans) in danger during her zoomies.

Voice

Chirp. Not a woo. Not a bark. Chirp. Louder and louder until she gets what she wants.

Where she sleeps

During the day, sprawled in Hu-Dad's office floor. Sometime in the evening, though, she's ready for bed and climbs onto her cushy mattress in her crate, though with her head hanging out the open door just in case something interesting happens that requires her attention.

Favorite activities

Snoopervising on the neighbors through the fence or with head stuck through the blinds in Hu-Dad's office windows. Bossing her brothers (and humans). And, the highlight of her day, our two walks with its many smells and the occasional passing human to tell her how cute she is.
