The friendship between Sally and Roscoe started tentatively, but grows by the day. The common bond? Non-stop wrestling matches.

In the mornings, before the heat builds, they take advantage of the dewy grass and early breezes to get in a few rounds. Sometimes, the noisy battles break for rapid games of chase around the yard.

By afternoon, though, the temperature soars and Hu-Dad suggests we go inside to enjoy some cool air for napping. After a couple hours of siesta, though, the urge to wrestle returns. Too bad we can’t go outside, so we wrestle “quietly” under Hu-Dad’s desk.

Quietly, as Hu-Dad suggests, is in the ear of the beholder.

A Shark Attacked My Best Friend
June 20, 2025 - In honor of the 50th anniversary of the theatrical debut of the movie Jaws, the film that was the inspiration for these events, D. K. Wall recorded the story in audio and video. The original story was posted on October 9, 2022.
A shark attacked my best friend when I was 11. His screams were awful. The silence that followed was worse. I was alone in the ocean.
So glad they are bonding so well and what better way to do it!
“Quietly, as Hu-Dad suggests, is in the ear of the beholder.” LOL! So true!
Glad to see those two playing together. Guess Boom Boom just does his own thing.
Nice to see Sally and Roscoe play so well! If anyone out there is interested in adopting a 15 month old Alaskan Malamute in Troy, NC call 910-975-0512 and ask about the boy from Mountain Ridge Malamutes in VA, the breeder is reaching out to any good homes but do your homework about Alaskan Malamutes….I have a dozen and it reminds me of days teaching middle schoolers science…”when will the fun begin???, teacher???” Dave in NC mtns
I love seeing how much fun they are having together ❤️.
Love they are enjoying each other although Hu-Dad finds it annoying!! What’s Boom doing ? Causing chaos his way?
Boom Boom has always marched to his own drummer. He is always hanging out, but usually on the periphery.
It’s nice to see that Roscoe has Sally to play with after missing Typhoon.
Love that Roscoe and Sally have bonded so well. Appears they both needed a playmate/co-conspirator. May the games continue
