Ruby Tuesday – Working Breed

Tartok demonstrates the engineering skills of wall support.

And then the advanced sliding glass door prop.

Ruby - Oh, good grief. Work is counter surfing, not foundation management.

At long last, we promise to reveal tomorrow the damage and repair to the dog area of Chez Herd.  Not that any particular Herd of Siberian Huskies have been accused in involvement in said crimes.  For some reason, the hu-dad thought of the movie, Usual Suspects.

It seems that an awful of hard structural work is being done without proper equipment. Where are the hard hats? yellow striped tape? grilled salmon?

Sorry Ruby, but we have to agree, wall support is a critical skill to have, I mean, without walls, what would counters be attached to?

don’t work so hard, woo too, don’t furget to have fun!

Keyser Soze did it????? Whatever it was? I can’t blame the squirrels for everything. But if it is The Usual Suspects, Keyser can’t be missed.

Good thing you are there to hold up that wall. Wouldn’t want it to fall down or anything. 🙂

I have had to do that to the wall on my balcony. It probably would have fallen down otherwise.

We have some of those talent skills as well. Can’t wait to see what the Hurd has done. Usually when destruction happens at our house, someone always will have something telling who did it. LOL Sniffs, The HoundDogs

P.S….You need to checkout our transport post we did with 2 bassets Saturday. The youngest one was pulling a Rusty while we walked him. All I could think of was Rusty when he started to do it. LOL

We have the best-supported foundations here, never a worry about them falling down. We must admit we need work on our counter surfing skills – does Ruby give lessons?

Guys, don’t strain yourselves from all that hard work! And be careful of that power outlet! That can be really dangerous!

And as for the damaged area, Kaiser Soser did it. I know because the coffee mug said so.

Who knew that Sibes could be so versatile? They have so many talents!

*snicker* Are they all going to be posted with mugshots? Not that I’ve done anything like that to my dogs!

Yes, Greyhounds can spot another of their kind from a mile away and they definitely have a preference for their own kind. I’ve always attributed it to the fact that they only see their own kind at the track until they retire. When they see other dogs they must wonder if it’s an alien dog from another planet or some poor genetic reject! 😛 They do fine with other dogs, but definitely turn on when they see another of their kind.

  19. Clive on March 8, 2011 at 3:40 am

    Definitely the squirrels!!! Who else?!!

  20. rottrover on March 8, 2011 at 1:07 am

    Yeah. The squirrels. Who else??

  21. Holly & Khady on March 8, 2011 at 1:06 am

There really is NO other harder working breed than us northerners!

Oh, and I already know what happened with the furry creatures. The evil squirrels snuck in and did it while the entire herd was napping! They are quite the elusive critters!
